We have finally done it! Both Ols and I have graduated from Utah State University well we both have one class left , but that is done in July!!!
We are so excited to be graduated and to be starting this new stage in our life.
Ols has graduated with his Economics degree with a Business Management emphasis, and I have graduated with my Elementary Education degree with a Social Studies emphasis.
We have honestly loved USU and living in Logan. It truly is our home. We have both become who we are now from living here and going to school. We have accomplished one of our dreams of earning a BA degree, and now we are ready for the next adventure. We will always be true Aggies and hold Logan near and dear to our hearts, no matter where we go in life.
We both knew that we wouldn't have any time to take pictures on the actual day of graduation, so we did a fun/cheesy pre-graduation photo shoot to capture this special time together.
Thanks so much to Jacque for coming with us and taking our couples pictures :)
Funny story of the top picture on the right. I went to let the balloons go into the air after this picture was taken, to represent our dreams soaring high (we were still in cheese mode). I let go of the balloons, and we laughed so hard as we watched the balloons just go about twenty feet in the air, never ever reaching high into the sky, just staying above the apartments. We tried to not take this personal. We still believe that our dreams can soar high, it just might take a while :)
We cheesed it up with Ols in these next few pictures
They are very business-esque wouldn't you say?
We had too much fun.
The day of our actual graduation!
May 5, 2012
L to R:
1. Way excited/a bit cold as we waited with friends to walk to the spectrum. Loved the bag pipes (sorry Doug:) and just the overall atmosphere of the excited graduates.
2. Our sweet graduate bracelets they gave us to remember the day (you can't see them very well, but we remember them)
We are so grateful to our parents/family members for all of the love and
the support that they have given to us throughout our schooling years.
They were always there for us, and we want to truly thank them for that!
I am also so grateful for all of our wonderful friends who helped us get through the grueling hours of school. We are seriously so lucky to have you! Thanks for keeping us sane :)
At the actual Commencement Ceremony, waiting for our names to be called and to walk together. |
We love you USU.
Now onto bigger and better things :)
