My Birthday!

Highlights:

  • Oli put up both cribs (at 5 a.m.) and surprised me early in the morning with them!
  • Oli brought me breakfast in bed before heading off to work
  • Oli made me a steak dinner with mushroom sauce and asparagus! My absolute favorite dish!
  • We had an apple as my cake, being that I am trying to lay off of as much sugar as I can while pregnant :)
  • We did crafts, watched a movie, and just relaxed together! Everything a pregnant woman wanted for her birthday!!
Thanks so much honey for such a wonderful birthday! I loved it so very much!!

Oli's 24th Birthday!

This was the very first time that I could keep everything a surprise!!

Highlights:
  • First I went and picked him up at work- which really surprised him haha
  • I then blindfolded him and after having a too close encounter with another car, we made it safely to the Little America!
  • Took him to a really delicious Indian restaurant, Bombay House
  • Gave him his game that he has been looking at for quite sometime, Dominion
  • Breakfast in bed
  • Spent all day in robes
  • Went to the Salt Lake temple to do an endowment session
  • Ended the weekend at Cafe Rio

Catch- Up of the Summer/Fall

To be honest, I have been so bad at taking pictures this past summer and Fall! We have done so many fun things, and I am sad to admit that most of them were not captured on camera.
I did capture some memories to document however, which is better than nothing :)

Fourth of July! Loved it so very much!
I love watching Oli longboard!
Waiting for the fireworks by playing games, long boarding, and eating snacks
Watching the firework show with friends! This was seriously the best firework show I have ever seen on the fourth of July!
Jay came down in the summertime and of course we always have a good time when he is here! It is always so good to see him and spend time with him.
We also were able to celebrate his birthday while he was here , which is always fun!

Mom and Dad left for their mission to Germany in the summer!!
We are so very happy for them that they are able to do this! They have been wanting to do this for a long time now, and they were finally able to go this summer. We are so proud of them for serving the Lord and we are grateful for the example they are setting for our kids.
We miss them a lot and there were tears shed, however we know that they are happy serving the Lord. Knowing that they are happy and that they are doing the Lord's work is what makes it all worth it!
Love you mom and dad!

We moved from our cute little Aggie Village apartment in Logan this past summer and I will admit that it was pretty hard on me. There were many tears shed on my part. Many tears. It is just hard saying good-bye to a place that you had created so many good memories in. We will always remember Logan and the incredible times we had there.
A few things about Logan:
  • It is where I came up by myself to gain a college education and to learn more about myself and who I want to be in life.
  • It is where Oli and I fell in love.
  • It is where Oli proposed to me.
  • It is where we made our home after we got married.
  • It is where we spent three years of wonderful marriage and created so many, many good memories together.
  • It is where we grew together and learned to step-up to the plate with schooling, jobs, and other things.
  • It is where we made life-lasting friendships that we will always treasure.
It is a place that we will always remember and keep in our hearts.
We love you Logan and are so grateful for all the memories you let us create while we were there!

The day we moved out of Logan/Aggie Village

Lunch with the girls!
I loved being able to catch up with them and eating such good food!

Our breakfast that Oli and I had one morning.
I just loved how peaceful it looked so I had to take a picture!

Oli's favorite dessert since we were first married: peanut butter rice krispies with melted chocolate on top. It is divine haha

Movie/Game night in the tent in our living room! Love it!
We did go camping outside throughout the summer- however I didn't take any pictures darn it.

Summer swim day at East Canyon!
Such a blast!
Date night in Park City. The Mexican food was so, so good!
Drive-In movie watching the Avengers! It was such a fun date night!!
I love that man.
Watched Aniston do her Mini-Clinic dance. It was so dang cute!
I also had to get a picture of cute Alayna while we were there!

Spent the weekend up in Logan with our good friends the Danas!! We had such a blast seeing them and being able to catch up with them! We seriously love these guys and are so grateful for their friendship!!

Haha oh the boys!

The beautiful Fall leaves up East Canyon!
We had to stop and take pictures, it was just so breathtaking!

Then Oli and I had a spur of the moment vacation plan. My parents had rented a cabin down by West Yellowstone and we decided to go up on Saturday (early, early morning Saturday) and Sunday to go to Yellowstone and enjoy the Fall time!! We love the spur of the moment vacations and plan to keep making more just like it when we can :)

The cabin rocked! Oli's favorite part of the cabin was sitting in the hot tub outside while it was still freezing in the morning and just enjoying the outdoors! He couldn't get over how awesome it was!

Had to take some pictures of the cute cabin :)

We of course played many, many games when we were not in the Park.

Haha my food stash

I KILLED them in a game of Settlers haha
Oli, Daniel, and I have been playing it a lot lately and I love it!

We really have been having such a fun time and we are so looking forward to doing Fall festivities and enjoying this time of year even more!!
