This was our wonderful vacation to Yellowstone! We had a blast! Grandma and Grandpa Stephens had put together this wonderful vacation for the whole family to get away and enjoy a little relaxation! This was very special for our family, being that our extended family keeps getting larger and larger, where sooner or later we will have a harder time getting everyone together. Nevertheless, this year all of the Stephens family were able to make it and I am truly grateful to have such a great family!
Dad made every head of the family a tally sheet where we could keep track of all the animals we would see in Yellowstone. This made for a fun competition between the families to see who could find the most animals. I can proudly say that our family won the competition! We overall saw 28 bears (18 Grizzlies and 10 Black Bears), 4 wolves, 2 Bighorn Sheep, 3 Badgers, 4 Moose, 3 Coyotes, 1 weasel, 12 Mule Deer, above 3,000 bison (yes, we tried counting ALL of them haha), 437 Elk, +210 Prong Horn Antelope and 4 Owls. Whew! It was quite the trip! We were so lucky to see such wonderful animals in the wild.
Since there are sooo many pictures I decided that I am just going to let them speak for themselves without me commentating on them. :)
Well I had to commentate on these next two pictures so that you aren't wondering why we are so excited to be in Wyoming :) Have you ever seen A Walk to Remember? I loved the part where he takes her to stand in two places at once... so we had to give it a try! Now I can say that I have been in two places at the same time :)
