Random Happenings Throughout the Months

Working on the House:

Oli being the stud that he is, washed every single one of our dishes that we own one evening (deep cleaning day). He seriously was so incredible. He wouldn't let me do one dish. This picture was taken after a huge load of dishes had already been done. What a stud

We are so grateful for wonderful technology! We are able to keep in touch with friends and family who are now no longer in close proximity to us! We love it so much and it makes the long distance not feel as long!

L to R:
1. Thanksgiving day breakfast
2. Daniel and Oli playing his awesome game, Dominion (the boys playing games has been a common scene around our house, which I love)
3. Vegetarian pizza that rocked!

Random crafts that have been done around the house:

L to R:
1. Oli built this "beach table" for me. We got this table at the D.I last summer, I think. It didn't have a bottom to it, so we had this idea planned out in our heads that we were going to nail wood to the bottom of the table to give it a bottom piece,  put sand in on top of it, and then put our beach-y things that we have collected throughout our marriage on trips and such on top of it. He surprised me by doing it one day this November!
2. My sweet mesh wreath! My mom, sister (Ness), and I all worked on mesh wreaths one day during November. My mother is so very talented with crafts, especially when it comes to creating anything for Christmas! She got all the supplies for us and then showed us how to create these cute wreaths. I really cherish these times that I have been able to spend with my family and grow closer to them. It really means so much to me.
3. I went to Ben Franklins with my mom and Aniston one weekday and I bought two shadow boxes, some paint, and two wood letters "R" and "N".  Oli and I then had a craft evening with Daniel over at our house after Oli got home from work. We watched Kung Fu Panda 2 while we did our crafts. I loved how my craft turned out for the girls' nursery!! Oli was so very proud of me haha

The "beach table" up close with my handsome husband!
My sweet wreath that I have my wonderful mother to thank for getting all the supplies and teaching us how to make!
