Oh how I love Fall and the traditions that ensue! Breaking out the traditions and cozying up together from the colder weather is our most favorite thing to do. Traditions are what we treasure as a family and is what sets our family apart from the world and keeps us close knit. I am forever grateful that both Oli and I hold traditions in such high regard, and that we have been doing them all throughout our marriage!
Highlights:
- My stud of a man and I making DELICIOUS homemade donuts!
- Decorating our tiny little apartment with Halloween decor
- Making our ghosts, and having some look like they have just been through the guillotine (I didn't do it intentionally- but Ols found it humorous and would mention it to all who came to our house :)
- The beautiful Fall colors!
- Coming home and seeing that we had been "Boo-ed". It made our night- and the pumpkin cookies were divine
- The Pumpkin Walk. Oh my goodness, we LOVE the Pumpkin Walk. This was our fourth year going and it just keeps getting better! We hold this near and dear to our hearts, and even though we will not be living in Logan after we graduate; we will still return to the Pumpkin Walk!
- Sticking our faces through the peep holes at the Pumpkin Walk and having no one take our pictures. We did this last year, and we couldn't help ourselves but do it again this year. You just sit there and smile through the peep hole as if somebody is taking your picture. Once the people recognize that no one is taking your picture; it makes for some awkward moments. We can't help it... it makes us laugh so hard every time!
- On Halloween night, cuddling and watching the "Twilight Zone" while eating delicious snacks
