Wow! It has been quite a while since I have last posted. It has been very busy here at the Geary household.
Oli is very involved in his schooling and work and he is loving it. He is really enjoying his classes and the professors that he has this semester. Oli really excels at applying economics into daily life and it has been wonderful watching him get so excited over what he does. I am married to a true economist.:) Oli is actively involved in his Church calling, making wonderful dinners, enjoying scaring his wife whenever he can, and is always making me laugh.
I have been super busy with Level III and I am truly pushing myself and growing in the field of teaching. I love teaching and all the aspects that involve it. The classes that I am taking are hard and require lots of time and work, however I am enjoying the challenge. I am so grateful to work with such wonderful girls as we have spent many, many hours together throughout this intense practicum. We have grown really close and I am so grateful to have such great friends. In two weeks I will finish my classes and I will be working solely in the classroom, and then after that it is student teaching and I am finished! :)
I have also been loving my calling in Primary. It has been going wonderful and I truly love those children. They are such good children and are always making me want to be better.
Together, both Oli and I are savoring the moments we get together aside from work and school. We have been loving riding our bikes wherever we go, going to the temple every week, having game nights with our friends, visiting our wonderful families, cooking together, enjoying the Fall season and all the coziness that comes with it, Institute date nights, and overall just simply being together. I love my Ols. He makes me so very happy.
Now it is time to catch-up on my pictures so that I don't keep getting further behind in my record keeping!
The Aggies vs. Weber
It was such a fun night and we were so glad to spend it with the Dana's, Nan, and Bryce!
I loved our girl talk! It made watching football more enjoyable :)
The Aggies were able to end with a win! Way to go Aggies!
Then about a month ago, we went to the doctor to get Oli's mole that he had on his back removed. I was concerned that it was malignant and that it would keep getting worse.Oli was such a stud and just took it like a man, especially for considering the fact that the doctor was using dull scissors. :) Luckily enough it was not malignant, and I am glad that it is gone.
The next picture might be a little graphic for some, just warning you. :)
Then on September 20th, it was my little brother's birthday. He is now thirteen years old! I can remember his big blue eyes, his white-blonde hair, and his love for dinosaurs like it was yesterday.
We celebrated his birthday on Sunday at my parents house, and then later in the week for his birthday party, he got to go to the All Star game!
Happy Birthday buddy, we love you!
Ols has laid down the law by suggesting we wear helmets when riding our bikes at night:) He is concerned about my bike riding skills. :)
Wearing helmets together reminded me of this:
Our very first date mountain biking at Sundance :)

We laughed so hard while riding our bikes around town for the first time with our helmets.
Here we are gearing up to go on our night ride.
My attempt at crossing my eyes :)
Oh goodness! One of the best things about Fall is the food! I seriously love Fall and the traditions that ensue because of it. Pumpkin pie is a favorite for me. I made this for Ols while he was Priesthood session. It's my take on a deep-dish pie, and boy it was delicious.
Then in September, we went and watched Jack play soccer! Oh my heck, he was so cute! It was such a blast being able to watch him be involved in sports. I still can not believe that he is old enough to be playing sports!
Here he is taking it to it :)
How cute is this?
The man himself :)
Nya Jo loved her apple juice :)
Way to go buddy! You did awesome!
Oli and I now have a cat back in Henefer. Well, we claim him as ours anyway. :) His name is Mufasa, he is a wild cat, and he loves attention. Mufasa chose his owners right because that is just what he gets. Ols is usually found rubbing his belly, constantly making sure that he is OK, or is playing with him outside :)
I can't help it either.. he is a cutie, and plus, he keeps the mice away :)
Then my little Aniston turned two last weekend! She was hilarious and such a cutie throughout her birthday celebration! I love this little one and it has been so fun watching her grow up into a sweet little girl.
Her birthday was Tangle themed and she was supported by many loved ones!
Nessa and Dad are due around the same time:)
Haha oh dad! We love you!
We have been having birthdays galore in the past two months. It was Aunt Cori's Birthday, Grandma Fawn's, Dantzel's , Greg's , and Jess's. We sadly weren't able to get around to seeing everyone. However we hope that they all had wonderful birthdays! They deserve the best birthdays! We love you!:)
My mother's birthday was on September 28th. My mom, dad, and Daniel did however come up to Logan where we went out to eat at Gaucho's Grill, swim, have Daniel sleep over at our house, and watch General Conference together. It was a fabulous weekend!

Being that we were not able to celebrate all together for my mother's birthday, Nessa had a cheesecake for my mother so that we could sing to her during Aniston's party.
My mother is beautiful inside and out. She is my example, and I aspire to be like her.
Mom, we love you! Thank you for all that you do.
Look at what a babe she is.
It doesn't matter how many birthdays you have mom, you always are beautiful!

What a big girl!
Grandma and Grandpa gave her a cute princess chair! It was fun to tease her by sitting in her chair and having her try to get you off of it :)
I love these next series of pictures...
She got a trunk full of dress-up princess attire! My mom and dad gave it to her and she absolutely loved it! It was hilarious to see her get dressed up into her outfits and parade around :)
Grandma and Ols in deep conversation :)
The little one was kind enough to allow me to be a princess as well. She dressed me up so wonderfully, and even added a green ribbon as my crown. :)
Like always love your post :)
ReplyDeleteMon! You two as always are so fun! I so wish kade and I could go to the temple once a week! With a child almost impossible, but we do go once a month, and I love it! I am very impressed with your deep dish pumpkin pie! I will have to try it:)
