Update!

Here is a little update on the last two weeks that we have had! It's been busy that's for sure with school and work, but oh how I love the down-time we do get and how we spend it!

To start off, two weekends ago we went and visited the family. We always have such a great time and love to see everyone! It was fun to be able to spend time with my cousin Cassie and just relax and play games! Then that Sunday was our families' stake conference. It was a great meeting and everyone who participated did wonderfully! The spirit was very strong and dad did a beautiful job with his talk.

That night we went to visit baby Nya! Dantzel and Greg welcomed in a new addition to their family on January 29, 2010. Nya came into their fam, weighing 8 lbs 11 oz. We are so happy for them and to have another beautiful niece! While on our way to visit them.. we had a little detour as good ol' White Fang, our sweet Buick, blew a tire. Luckily for me, Oli was experienced with this sort of situation, and being the great husband that he is, stood out in the freezing cold and had me stay in the car while he fixed our tire :)

I hit quite a big bump going up Parley's...

Fixing the tire with a smile

What a stud :)

From there on, we made it safely to Lehi and were able to visit Baby Nya!

I love this picture! She is smiling!

Then came the Super Bowl! There is nothing better than watching a good game with good company and food! We had some chocolate pie, guacamole dip and chips, popcorn, and no-bake cookies.(You can never have enough sweets!) Oli was for the Colts and I was for the Saints! It was such a great game and I was happy to see the Saints win!
Go Saints!
p.s. I was feeling like taking our pictures in Sepia mode... I don't really know why-but I liked the way they turned out! :)

mmmm... it was such good food

Go Saints!

What happened to the Colts? :)

We had dinner with friends this last Friday- and it was so delicious! Our friends made a great dinner and it was such a fun night!

(If you do not like mushy, lovey-dovey stuff, I suggest you scroll past this part :)
Then last, but certainly not least, was honestly one of the best days I have ever had! It was the day of love! Oh how I love Valentines! It was perfect to me in all ways and I want to share a little bit of it with you.
Since Valentines was on a Sunday, we wanted to celebrate earlier by having our Valentines be on Saturday. I first was able to go to work, which was so fun because I couldn't help smiling and I was simply giddy. The girls at work would joke around with me about how funny it was- but I couldn't help it, I was just happy:)Oli came and picked me up after I was finished and surpised me with a rose. Oh how I love roses!
p.s. I had a pink peace sign painting on the right side of my face. We were painting faces for donations for the American Heart Association at work.. I just wanted to explain what the pink thing was on the side of my face :)

Then the Valentines day began!
We came home so I could get ready, and I opened up my closet and noticed it was so neatly organized! Oli organized my closet! He always laughs whenever I am in a hurry and cannot find the clothes I am looking for, so he took the prerogative to organize it for me :)

After I was ready, we thought that there couldn't be anything more romantic than to be able to hear what was said on your wedding day, (Well not exactly word-for-word) over again. So we went to the temple and did sealings for the dead, and it was such a wonderful experience to be able to help others to be sealed for time and all eternity, and to hear those commitments that we made when we were married!

Right after the temple, we had dinner reservations made at Tandori Oven. We have acquired quite the addiction for Indian food. It all started when we had dinner at a friend's house, and ever since then we have craved it! So we were pretty excited to finally have Indian food! And it definitely surpassed our expectations, being that it was our first Indian food restuarant- it was dang good!

Oli presented me with a gift while we were eating. It was such a suprise! It was a hard back book of our story. It had pictures and everything! It was such an amazing gift! Thanks babe, your the best.

Oli just cleaning up his plate :)

Then I tried to create an Anniversary Inn suite at our home- complete with sparkling cider and nice china, guacamole dip and chips, and the movie Chocolat. (If you have never seen it I hightly recommend it)

We moved the tv into the bedroom- just for that night- but just wanted to let you know that that is not the setup we have for our tv :)

It was the perfect day. Hooray for love! Have a wonderful week!
