Summer Time Part 1

I haven't blogged for SO long and there are many things that I need to update on, but for now, I will just start with the first part of our summer, and work from there :)

Enjoying some artichokes while watching a summer movie together

Playing handball together at Hillcrest Elementary by our apartment. This was one of our favorite things to do in the summer! We were especially good at hitting the ball over the wall.... (I think it was just a good excuse for Oli to climb up on top of the school to go get the ball)

Picnicking on Old Main Hill

Went and saw Erin Grunwell, the woman that started the "Freedom Writers". She was very inspirational and really inspired me to love what I do and to dream BIG

Aniston, Alayna, Sofia, and Ness came to visit us the week of our graduation! We loved having them here and going on our many adventures!

Eating outside with our awesome friends! We miss them a lot!

Oli enjoying our awesome dinner that we had one night outside. We really enjoyed using our little grill as much as we could. (We ate almost everyday outside and it was heavenly)

Playing softball with our friends the night of graduation! We had such a blast!

We went with the Danas and finally became TRUE AGGIES the night of graduation haha (It's never too late :)
Curt... I had to post these pictures :)

Dana boys playing softball the day they were leaving to Arizona :(

Went and saw Dan and Greg's new home (which it is completely finished and they are now living in it- I am just a tad bit behind haha)

Oli riding his long board around on summer nights!

Having a picnic and reading at our "secret" park

Celebrating William's first birthday!

Enjoying Cafe Rio on the night of our wedding anniversary, June 5th (we celebrated our anniversary prior by going to California. We just couldn't let the real day we got married go unnoticed, hence the eating out:)

One day Oli surprised me by taking me to City Creek! He was SO good at keeping this a secret. He had me believing that we were going to be going somewhere else the whole time- he is insanely good at keeping secrets.
His secret was blown when he took me on the train that he took everyday for work from Ogden to SLC ( I have been wanting to ride the train for a while- and from there I guessed that we were going to City Creek). It was such a fun surprise and of course, City Creek did not disappoint!

Oli gave me a sneak peak of where he works at in SLC (in the Gateway Office Complex). The office space where he works at was closed, so I was just able to see the front entrance, which was beautiful! I then went the next weekend to go see his office and meet all of his coworkers- which was so fun for me!

We loved City Creek!

More summer updates to come!
