Just yesterday was Oli's 21st birthday! It's crazy to think that we are at the age to be turning 21- it's just so exciting and it feels so good to be together during such a big part of each other's lives! So I tried to give him the birthday that he deserves- and it was really fun doing it while being married- I will have to admit that trying to hold surprises in is quite exciting but also a little challenging. But overall it was just such a great day and I just want to say that I love him so much... :) Also, my youngest sister Diana turned 16 today- that's such a fun time and I just wanted to say Happy Birthday Diana!
So for the first part of his birthday, I took him to the Warren Miller Show.It was a little bit earlier than his birthday but it was so worth it! As some of you know, Oli loves snowboarding, and being that Warren Miller is a show all about the fun things that comes with skiing and snowboarding- it was an easy decision to purchase these tickets for him-and to be honest- I absolutely love it! We went to it last year for his birthday- and we both loved it so much that I really wanted to take him again to the new show this year. So to start out the night- we went to Pita Pit (one of my favorite sandwich places!) and then being the avid ping-pong players that we are- we went up to campus to get in some playing time on their sweet ping-pong tables before the show started. It was so funny because it was like 7 ish at night and the TSC is basically vacant- but we really wanted to play- so we asked the janitor if he wouldn't mind if we played... haha... we just love it that much :) He was nice enough to let us play while we were killing time for the movie- and I couldn't help but take pictures.. it was fun to be having them vacuuming while we were playing an intense game of ping-pong.

Then his actual birthday:
Breakfast in bed
Then a surpise party with friends and family- here is the cake I made him.. not going to lie.. it's pretty delicious :)
Sofia and Oli getting their strategy on playing "Stratego"
Then we played a fun game of "Liar's Dice"
Singing Happy Birthday
A good ol' game of "Catch Phrase"
Then a picnic in our living room with Little Ceasar's Pizza and watching the new "Star Trek" movie
Well- there you have it! It was such a fun time- and I am looking forward to the many more birthdays to come!
