Entering the Blogging World

Well Hello! Ok.. so I have finally finished- well somewhat finished- our blog! To be honest, I started this blog in August, but because life can get so busy sometimes- the "starting our blog" idea went to the bottom of my priorities. But lately I have had close friends and family wanting to see pics and other things about our lives, and being that distance can make that hard, I have finally decided to enter into the realm of blogging, and to atleast give it a try. So- here I am, doing the one thing I didn't want to conform to, but to be honest, I actually like it! So I hope whoever reads this finds it enjoyable and understands that I am still working on the technical side of my blog (hence the music at the bottom, Oli and I are still trying to figure how to make that into an i-pod shuffle- any ideas?) Well.. we hope you enjoy!

In my fist attempts at blogging, I have decided to do a small re-cap of our first summer together as husband and wife.

The most important event of our summer, was our wedding day in which we were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake temple. I never believed that such happiness could be attained! There is something amazing about the fact that since you were a little girl, the temple was always an aspiration, and then to have the person you never wanted to part from be there to accomplish such dreams and goals with you was what made it so remarkable. To us, it was the greatest day, and we will always cherish the time spent with family and friends on our wedding day!
p.s. these pictures are not in chronological order- but I hope you are able to still get the gist of things :)

I love these girls- us the dinner the night before the wedding

The Geary family relaxing after we had such a great dinner at their place, thanks to Doug and Louette and the rest of the family, the backyard dinner was so beautiful and so delicious! I absolutely loved it!

This is our wonderful reception! I absolutely loved it- and I am so grateful for my mother and family who helped me so much with the planning and the decorating- she has a real knack for these types of things!
